The Albums and Tours Behind the Designs

· My Story

Many of the designs in this store come straight from my albums and tours. Some carry an album title, some a tour poster, and some a favourite lyric. Here's the story behind them, and the pieces each one inspired.

Jagged Little Pill (1995)

My breakthrough album, written with Glen Ballard, sold 33 million copies worldwide and won the Grammy for Album of the Year. "Hand in My Pocket" was its second single, and its line about being high but grounded is still a fan favourite.

In the shop: I'm High But I'm Grounded sets that line in wavy 70s letters, and Jagged Little Pill 25th Anniversary Tour carries the tour's cities on the back. That anniversary tour was planned for 2020 and finally hit the road in 2021.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie (1998)

The follow-up to Jagged Little Pill brought "Thank U" and longer, freer songs.

In the shop: the Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie design stacks the full title in typewriter letters above my round am logo.

The Triple Moon Tour (2024)

In summer 2024 I toured North America with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Morgan Wade. The tour opened in Phoenix on June 9 and marked 25 years of Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie.

In the shop: Triple Moon Tour has a tarot-style tour poster on the back, and the moon-phase portraits echo the same mystic feel.

Flavors of Entanglement (2008) and The Storm Before the Calm (2022)

"Citizen of the Planet" opens Flavors of Entanglement, and The Storm Before the Calm is my album of meditation music.

In the shop: Citizen of the Planet keeps it to one line of type, and The Storm Before the Calm pairs watercolour art with all parts welcome on the back.
